Cancellations & Returns Policy

This policy sets out your rights to cancel your Order and return the Goods.

1. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations you could cancel your Order at any time after you place your Order until the end of fourteen days beginning with the day after the date on which you receive the Goods. Although if you would like to cancel your order after despatch, but before Goods are delivered then you will receive a refund for goods only, and not shipping costs already incurred. When materials require a return collection the costs for haulage are the responsibility of the customer.(You will have an email stating your order is on its way once Goods have been despatched)

2. Where Goods are intended for purposes related to your trade, business or profession and you are not acting as a consumer, clause 1 would not apply. You can only cancel your Order in accordance with clause 4.

3. If you would like to cancel your Order and wish to return the Goods under clause 3, the following will be applied:

a) to cancel your order you should contact Buckley Landscape Supplies in writing, by email or post, using the details available at www.Buckleylandscapesupplies.com 

b) to improve our customer service, you will be asked why you wish to return the Goods;

c) Goods must be returned in a complete, undamaged and unsused condition complete, packaged and palleted as delivered;

d) After notifying us that you are cancelling your Order, we will repay sums paid by you for the Goods (excluding shipping for delivery and return), as soon as possible, and in any event within fourteen days of receiving your notice of cancellation provided that the Goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the Goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of return delivery, we are entitled to deduct these costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be repaid to you.

Please note that the right of cancelling your order under Clause 1 will not apply to perishable products such as Turf.

4. If you would like to return Products due to not complying with these Conditions, any of your statutory rights, or the Goods are damaged or faulty, or where we Buckley Landscape Supplies has not supplied the correct Goods, you should contact Buckley Landscape supplies using the details set out within a reasonable period of discovering the fault or error, but in any case, within seven days. If you agree to return the Goods at Buckley Landscape Supplies expense, you may ask Buckley Landscape Supplies to send you replacement Goods, or to repay any sums paid by you for the Goods within fourteen days.

a)    For us to improve quality control, customer service and to verify any faults or damages, we will ask you to send us clear photographs of the product(s) and any faults, damages or issues of quality.

5. Your rights do not arise where the packaging has been damaged in transit but the Goods themselves are undamaged.

6. Turf is a highly perishable natural product, when not laid quickly in accordance with the advice given to you by Buckley Landscape Supplies turf may deteriorate rapidly. Where the Turf is not rolled out immediately in the months of Summer and Spring and within 24 hours for Autumn/Winter (or such other timescale as advised by Buckley Landscape Supplies at time of placing order), Buckley Landscape Supplies will not accept responsibility for deterioration, and return of the Turf due to such deterioration will not be accepted. It is therefore the customers responsibility to ensure that you are able to lay the Turf before agreeing a delivery date.

7. As natural products, be aware that the condition of Turf, Topsoil and Compost will be dependent on factors beyond Buckley Landscape Supplies control including (without limitation) unintended blown or animal/bird carried seeding, weather conditions and will also be dependent on the care if the topsoil, turf and compost taken by the customer after delivery. Although Buckley Landscape Supplies may be liable for a failure of the topsoil, turf and compost with these conditions or your statutory rights, you will not he able to return topsoil turf or compost because due to defects arising after delivery, whether that be due to external factors or the failure to care for the products as advised.

8.  Due to our products being naturally sourced (such as Turf, Topsoil, Compost, Bark, Gravels, Sand, stones, slates and other aggregates) you may find variations in size, colour, texture and shape and therefore you will not be able to return these products for any reasonable variations in appearance or otherwise.
